General Information
The world is confronted with a series of challenges, including issues related to population and food supply, global environmental changes, and natural disasters. Addressing these challenges necessitates the promotion of basic science, which is essential for solving various problems. This includes deepening our fundamental understanding of life phenomena and training human resources capable of applying such knowledge flexibly and swiftly. The Okayama University-Vietnam Partner Universities International Master’s Program in Environmental and Life Sciences for Planetary Health was established in cooperation with Graduate School of Environmental, Life, Natural Science and Technology (ELST), Okayama University, Japan, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, Vietnam, and Hue University of Sciences, Vietnam. The ELST, which was established in April 2023 through the reorganization of the Graduate School of Okayama University, combines the Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science and the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, and includes agricultural and environmental studies as well as engineering and science.
