Atmospheric Sciences

The global circulation of the atmosphere and local atmospheric phenomena occur through various mechanisms. What factors contribute to climate change from the past to the future, as exemplified by global warming? In the atmospheric science section, we study the mechanisms behind extreme weather and climate change by comprehensively utilizing numerical simulations, observation products, and reanalysis datasets. We also develop numerical models to understand physical processes and mechanisms of climate change, for more accurate climate predictions.
