Synthetic and Physical Organic Chemistry
In Synthetic and Physical Organic Chemistry research area, we investigate organic photochemistry to develop novel functional molecule, such as luminescent materials organic semiconductors. Our research subjects are as follows.
|
We are studying (i) development of luminescent molecules responding to various external stimuli (polarity, ionic species, light illumination, etc), (ii) construction of polycyclic aromatic molecules, such as phenacenes, and their application to organic electronics, and (iii) investigation of cyclophane photochemistry to reveal their unknown reactions in excited states.
