During those eight months, I could discover the world of research in an international context, follow very qualitative classes, unearth a new fascinating culture, and meet awesome people! Thanks to this program, I was able to join the coordination chemistry laboratory where I could do research. My research topic was on the synthesis of Schiff-Base cluster compounds for artificial photosynthesis, and thanks to this I was able to improve a lot of qualities needed for research, learn a lot of theoretical and practical knowledge. This internship was also supplement by classes where I could also enhance my knowledge in several fields of chemistry. The IMaC program is not only an academical experience, but also a human experience. I could discover Japan, visit a lot of places, meet new people and exchange about our respective culture. So, it is also an occasion to understand cultural differences between countries and the fascinating variety that exists.
