Specifically, I target the anthocyanins, sugars, and organic acids to enhance both human health benefits and flavor profiles. Additionally, I explore wild blueberry relatives that exhibit extraordinary drought tolerance. By elucidating the physiological and genetic mechanisms, I aim to apply these traits directly to practical breeding programs.
