Optical Silicon Resonator

Photonic Charge Sensor

We are conducting research on “photonic chips” that use the properties of light to transmit information and detect microscopic, invisible changes. The material used is silicon, often referred to as the brain of AI, combined with a special structure called a photonic crystal. We have successfully developed the world’s smallest silicon laser, the world’s strongest light-confining optical cavity, and sensors that can safely operate in space. Our goal is to apply these technologies in data centers, satellites, and the medical field.
